After finishing school in 2018 Madi worked at Yandoo Equestrian for a year, grooming and riding their horses. In March 2020 she flew to Holland to work for Edwina Tops Alexander for 3 months. Unfortunately, her trip was cut very short by Covid 19. With plans changed, she spent most of 2020 riding for James Arkins at Rosthwaite Farm. In late 2020, Madi moved to Canberra to ride for Izzy Stone at Ouverture Sport Horses. Her own team of horses was growing in 2021 which is when she decided to start her own business, Birchwood Equestrian.
